Mae ein Llywodraethwyr yn bobl sy'n cynorthwyo i

• ofalu am blant, y dysgu a'r addysgu
• yn rhan o dim sy'n cynnwyd cyfrifoldeb am bopeth a wna'r ysgol
• gwneud amser i ymrwymo i gyfarfodydd a digwyddiadau eraill yn ol y galw
• bod yn gyfaill ond hefyd cadw llygad ar sut mae'r ysgol yn gweithredu a chyraeddiadau safonau

Welcome to the Governors page where you can find out a little more about the Governors and the work that we do.

The Governing body contains representatives from the whole school community including:

• Head Teacher
• Parents/Guardians
• Teachers
• Non teaching staff
• The community
• Local Education Authority
• Barry Town Council         

Our role is as a “critical friend” to the school, working in partnership with the whole school community to help provide the best possible education for “our children”.

Our school governors are people who

• Care about children, teaching and learning
• Are part of a team which accepts responsibility for everything that the school does
• Make time to commit to meetings and other occasions when needed
• Act as a friend but are still able to cast a critical eye upon how the school works and the standards it achieves

Our aim is to help each child achieve their full potential. If you have any views that you would like to discuss then please feel free to discuss with any governor, or if you prefer write to me.
